Twenty Christmas's

Karl and I have had 20 Christmas's together and they have been FANTASTIC! This year was no exception, we spent Christmas Day at his parents for lunch and my parents for dinner. It was such a great day! I am so grateful that we were able to spend time with both our families! On Christmas Eve, Karl, the kids and I, were looking at old pictures and reminiscing about past Christmas's and events in our lives and ran across this picture.
Man were we young!

We had been married about 3 months.....
oh, the good ole days....lol

Merry Christmas to all....

We would like to wish all of you a very Merry Christmas. At this time of year we have the opportunity to reflect on all that has happened in our lives over the last year. Karl and I have been so blessed to have wonderful friends and family by our side as we made the transition from our life in Ephraim, Utah to our new beginnings in Henderson, NV.

Kolton and Kaylee are adjusting nicely to their new schools and have experience a great many opportunities socially and educationally. Karl and I have also been blessed with opportunities (we have shared many on this blot); but, one of the biggest blessing by far is having our entire family together once again. We are so grateful to our Heavenly Father for the gospel that we so cherish and for his love. We hope that all of you have a wonderful and safe holiday season. If we don't see you, just know that we love you and carry you in our hearts and prayers.

All our love,

The Rostrons.

More Pictures of Emery May Linde

Here are more pictures of Emery Linde...

Easton and his Baby Girl...........Emery May Linde being happy!!!

I'm a GREAT AUNT!!! AGAIN! Yes, AGAIN!

Emery May Linde was born Thursday, December 18. She weighed 7 pounds 4 ounces and was 19 inches long. Unfortunately, the medicine they gave Bridget also affected Emery, so just after she was born she coded and they had to do compressions and put her on a ventilator to get her back. Poor Easton was just in shock. Nancy tried so hard to be strong for him but she was also terrified. knowing what she knows about this type of situation. She finally broke down when she was alone and going home, she called my mom and they both had difficulty dealing with the situation. But all seems to be well now and we will let you know when we know more. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all!

We did get pictures of the baby, she is so beautiful!

Who hope that you will all keep Emery, Bridget and Easton in your prayers. We are hoping that Emery will be out of the NICU today and that both she and Bridget will be going home soon. Get Better Bridget and Emery, we love you!

Snow College
is playing for the National Championship this Saturday!
As you probably know Karl and I are Alumni of Snow College in Ephraim, Utah. We are so proud to associated with this institution and are equally proud of the Football Coaches and their staff for the integrity and class they, and their players, show on and off the field. Karl and I wish the Badgers much success in the game and have all the confidence in them that they will bring the title home! Unfortunately, Jan can't be there; but, Karl will and I sure you will all hear him cheering....GO BADGERS!!!

Fight Night.............

I never thought in a million years that I would turn out to be a fight fan.....surprisingly it was so much fun! These guys are true athletes and it is so much fun to watch them work their magic. We had a great time and dinner was fantastic, we ate at Deigo's at the MGM and it was a great Mexican Restaurant. We got some pics at the fight; but, they were on our cell phone and aren't that great but we are going to show them anyway......

Karl and I at the Main Event! Not a great pic;

The Winner was announced,
of course the losers corner threw in the towel!

Karl right after the Main Event.....it was awesome!

Again, pics not great but it is the Winner, Ricky Hatton!

Okay, so you can't really tell but that is Lennox Lewis
behind the blonde (he was walking by).

The Main Event....well, at least for us.......

Today was they big day and Karl announced the weigh-ins. He said he had a lot of fun and it isn't over. We are going to the Boxing Matches tomorrow plus dinner with the radio guys. Here are some pics of his adventure......

Look at all the people, about 3,000-5,000!

The Main Event was announced by Michael Buffer.

Karl had his turn too......

Wow, this in intense......it's a face off......

It is so fun to see Karl doing what he loves......he did a great job!

And now in this corner.........

So Karl was driving home (to Henderson) from a job interview in Las Vegas and the local Sports Radio (KWWN: ESPN Radio in Las Vegas) decided to have a contest for an announcer (they needed someone to announce the weigh-ins on at the Boxing Championships Friday night); so, Karl went down and auditioned and the listeners picked the winner......which would be KARL!!! Yes, it is true! Karl is announcing the weigh-ins on Friday Night at the MGM for the World Championship Unification Bout. He also won tickets to the Title Match on Saturday, dinner at the MGM, an autographed (Ricky Hatton and Paulie Malignaggi) boxing glove and $20 bucks! Oscar De La Hoya will also be there too. We are so excited for him. Good Luck babe, I'm not a big boxing fan; but, I am a HUGH Karl FAN!!!

Shout out to Katie and Al

I just wanted to give a shout out to Katie and Al for being such a sweet family. I really enjoy their blog and I am glad I had the opportunity to meet them and have them in my life. I am sad that I live so far away and I don't think they will EVER know what their presence in the world has meant to people! Your positive attitude and love of life is an inspiration.
You guys are the BOMB!!

Katie and Al, aren't they cute!!

Threading.....

So, you may have heard of Plucking and Waxing; but, have you heard of Threading your Brows? Well, I decided to bite the bullet and let them take pictures of me going through the process so that you can see it being done. I have had waxing done and it is okay, hurts a little; but, it's okay. Threading doesn't really hurt and they do a really good job. I have had this done before so it was nice to have it done again. It takes less then 5 minutes.
Here are the pics.....

Hopefully, you can see the thread as she holds it in
each hand and her mouth...

A close up shot......they are so talented!

Another view of this unique procedure!!

Memories.....

I was going through my picture CD's and found these pics of me, Whitney and Chrissy. It seems like only yesterday that I graduated and left USU! Time really flies......

Jan's graduation from USU....with my friends...

A few months later Whitney, Jan, and Chrissy.....
one of my last days at USU!
I miss you guys!

Remembering the Veterans.......

Today is Veterans Day. Karl, Kaylee and I went to the local Veterans Memorial to remember those that have lost there lives so we could be free.....it was a beautiful place. Kaylee really loved the water fountain and I just could help but feel a sense of loss....especially because there are so many in this country who forget what was lost so that they can scream for "Political Correctness". Today that sacrifice will not be forgot......thank you to those who gave their lives, thank you to those whose family member gave their life and thank you to all those who are still sacrificing for their country! We appreciate you and we love you!!

Kaylee's favorite thing....she thought it was so nice.

She loved to just sit and reflect......

I really love this shot because the words..."We Can Live in Peace" can be seen with the reflection of the American Flag on the wall and the names of those that fought for our freedom......it is beautiful to see.....

Ethel M's Chocolate Factory.....

So, anytime we came on vacation to Las Vegas, we would visit Ethel M's Chocolate Factory and take a tour....so, since we all had today off we decided to go and try some free candy. Of course, Kolton and Kody declined to come; but, Karl, Kaylee and I went anyway. We had a fun time on the tour of the factory and walking the grounds where they were preparing for Christmas. It was funny to see Santa, a Snowman and reigndeer in the desert landscape; but, it was still fun....here are some of our pics from the adventure:

Santa rides on a boat now.......

and in a Helicopter.....lol

Karl and Kaylee are at the North Pole

This is the first Snow I have seen in Nevada

Karl and I, Kaylee takes great pictures

We like to be silly too........

Karl watching them make candy.........

Kaylee thinks this is a really cool process.

My sweet sister Lisa came to visit and brought another one of our friends with her, Vanessa. We had a great time! Lisa taught me to play craps and we sang Karaoke (mostly Vanessa, LOL).
I have known Lisa since I was a VERY young child and we grew up together! We have laughed, cried and had so much joy together! Thanks girl for being such a great friend and sis!!

Karl's Dad, Roy....

Karl's Dad, Roy, is one of my favorite people in this world. He is so kind, sincere, and loving. I really love these pictures of him that Karl took.....if you know Roy, it is just him! He walked and climbed all over the mountain and wore Karl out! If you see him sitting, it is probably because Karl was tired! Karl did a great job taking these pics....thanks babe!

Roy is determined to keep climbing up.....

Roy loves the mountains....
he and Karl have a lot of great memories there.

Roy taking a much deserved (but probably not needed) rest.

Roy climbing the mountain.
If you know him, this will look familiar to you.
