Update.....

I just wanted to thank all of my family and friends for all their love and support through the difficult times this last couple of years.

Although Karl and I are no longer married, we both love our children and wish to continue to raise them with love and respect.

Again, I thank you all for all that you have done for me.

This will be the last post on this blog; however, I will be starting a new one...so that family and friends can watch as the kids and I grow, learn and rejoice in this life!!

Love,

Jan

Happy Fourth of July!!

Well, we spent the 4th back in my hometown, Yuma, Arizona. We are spending a week in San Diego and decided to head down early so I could visit my favorite Mexican Food Restaurant, Chili Pepper. We took Kaylee to the County Fair Grounds where we watched the Demolition Derby and then Fireworks. They had fireworks in 4 different parts of town. It was fun.

Before the Derby, they had these cars just sitting there.....

They gave out free watermelon slices.......it was so good and so juicy!!

Kaylee loved it too....very juicy!!

Gee, I wonder what Kaylee is doing? What's that in her hand??

Oh.....she spray painting the car......daddy caught her in the act!!
That's okay, they let the kids spray paint the car that was going to be destroyed....

Dad even let her climb on the car......

She really had fun....too bad she was wearing mom's shirt and got paint all over it :-( Oh well, she had fun!

They dropped the spray painted car on top of another car....they was a guy in the car....trying to get out!

It lined up perfectly and landed right on top....it was cool!!

The Derby was great.....

I love all the pink cars....it was cool!!

Kaylee's first Derby and she loved it!!

Kaylee goes to camp

So, my little Kaylee went off to camp this week. I will miss her so much; but, I know she will be just fine and she will have a blast with all her friends! It reminds me so much of when I went off to camp....I loved it and I miss all my friends that I share the experience. I gave her plenty of cameras to document the event so I will post them when she comes back. For now, here she is ready to go:

Kaylee's 12th Birthday!

Wow, what a week. Kaylee turned 12 and we celebrated all week.....family dinner at her favorite restaurant one day, party with the young women the next, family party the next, and finally the "Friends Party". She had a really good time and didn't want this birthday to end....of course, I don't blame her! We won't be posting any pictures of her friends; but, I will post the ones of her.

Starting the cake on fire....lol....she getting older.

She wanted to swim so they all jumped in (just not in this pic)

Her B.R. Ice Cream Cake...Yummy (pre-candles)
